Story:
Over a thousand mountain birds have ceased to fly. On ten thousand paths, human footprints are gone. There is one constant, and that is change. To remain fluid, to mature, accelerates and marks ones’ planetary time on this earth. To embrace the passing of time and to travel the seasons protected, is like walking with god, brightly, fearlessly, as the morning sun. Namaste.

Notes on Original Work of Art:
An early 1800’s silver Tibetan gau with coral and turquoise, adorned at top and bottom with pieces from an early 1800’s Chinese child’s hat, resting on late 1800’s Tibetan thangka cloth, surrounded with late 1800’s Chinese pearl embroidery from a Phoenix shawl, with two bands of gold cloth from a 17th century Japanese priest’s robe, adorned at top and bottom with late 1800’s Tibetan ritual Buddhist crown ornaments made of golden silk with 4 of the 8 auspicious Buddhist emblem motifs with silk tassels, resting on hand-made Japanese bamboo paper with a basket weave of acrylic painted watercolor paper, wrapped in Japanese hand-made rice lace, bathed in a mixture of archival beeswax and UV-resistant polymers, bordered by insets wrapped with pages from a late 1800’s Mongolian Buddhist manuscript, all on wooden museum panel painted with silver and acrylic paints, all veiled in contemporary purple and yellow organza.
